Remove an E-Bike ​

Removing an e-bike unpairs it from your account. You might do this when you want to connect a different e-bike, since Flex only supports one e-bike at a time.

How to Remove Your E-Bike ​

  1. Go to the You tab → About section.
  2. On your Bike card, tap the ••• button in the top-right corner.
  3. Choose Remove Bike from the menu.
  4. Read the confirmation, then tap Remove Bike to confirm.

Once removed, the bike disappears from your account, and Flex clears its pairing data. This only affects the pairing in Flex and does not change anything on the bike itself.

Finish Your Ride Before Removing ​

You can't remove your e-bike while an activity is still in progress. Finish your current activity first, then remove it.

To finish an activity, go to your Live Ride Dashboard and tap Finish Ride. Once the activity is saved, you can remove the e-bike.

What Happens When You Remove an E-Bike ​

Your past riding activities won't be affected. All of your recorded activities, along with your stats and rewards, stay on your account after you remove your e-bike.

If you're signed in on more than one device and an activity on this e-bike is still recording on another device, removing the bike finishes that activity and saves it as private for you — it still counts toward your stats and rewards as usual. Any other device paired with this bike is unpaired at the same time, and a connected bike disconnects right away.

Add an E-Bike After Removing ​

After you remove your e-bike, you can pair a new one anytime. Go to the You tab and tap Add Bike to start again. See Add an E-Bike for the full steps.

FAQ ​

  • Does removing an e-bike delete my activities? No. Your recorded activities stay on your account, along with your stats and rewards. Removing an e-bike only unpairs it from Flex.

  • Why can't I remove my bike? You can't remove a bike while an activity on it is still in progress. Finish your activity from the Live Ride Dashboard first, then try again.

  • Can I add the same bike again later? Yes. You can pair a new e-bike anytime, or pair the same one again by going through the Add Bike steps. See Add an E-Bike.
