Block a User
Blocking someone removes you and that person from each other's view on Flex. It's a private action, and the person you block is never notified.
How to Block Someone
You can block someone from their profile or from one of their comments:
- On the person's profile, tap the ••• button in the top-right corner. Or, on one of their comments, tap the ••• button next to it.
- Tap Block User.
- Read the confirmation, then tap Block.
Once you confirm, you'll see a User Blocked screen. From there you can tap Done to go back, or View Blocked Users to see everyone you've blocked.
What Happens When You Block Someone
Blocking takes effect right away. You and the person you blocked stop following each other, and you disappear from each other's activities, comments, likes, and followers.
After that, neither of you can find the other on Flex. If you open their profile or one of their activities, you'll see an Account Unavailable or Activity Unavailable message. They can no longer find your profile or content either, and the two of you can't interact.
The person you block is never told that you blocked them.
How to Unblock Someone
You can unblock someone at any time, from their profile or from your settings.
From your settings, go to You tab → Settings → Blocked Users, find the person, and tap Unblock next to their name. Either way, you'll be asked to confirm.
Once you unblock someone, they can find your profile and see your activities again. You don't automatically start following each other again, and they're not notified that you unblocked them.
Blocking Is Not the Same as Reporting
Blocking is a private action between you and the other person. It doesn't send us a report or ask us to review anything, so nothing happens to their account on Flex beyond losing their connection to you.
If you think someone is breaking our Community Standards, report them so our team can review it. Reporting is separate from blocking, and you can still do both.
